Greetings all, FM5 here.
I've posted a thread like this on almost every forum I've been to. But, now it's time to spread the word.
I'm a designer who's always looking for a job on the net to re-design a forum in need. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, "Are you really that great?" Well, it depends on what info you give me. If you want the very best for your forum's design when a designer is working on it, you must supply the information!
Rule #1: NEVER leave a designer's questions un-answered. Doing so will throw the designer into confusion and will make the job harder on them.
Rule #2: Tell them EXACTLY what you want. If you can't say what you want, however, give the designer the best answer you can.
Rule #3: NEVER tell the desinger "Do what you want". That has happened to me and I never finished it because the admin was not helping me out. He would not answer my questions or give me any hint whatsoever about what he wanted his site to look like. If you do that to a desinger, they will most likely not even complete the job and leave you hanging.
That was just some advice for all you admins out there. I know, I sound scary about now. But, let me show you some forum's I've already completed. Most are the same theme, but I can do any theme if you hand me the right info. Here's some of the forum's I've re-designed.
NOTE: These forums are new and are still growing in size. Plus, my designs have enhaced over the time I've re-designed these forums.
Hylian Temple: hyliantemple.proboards27.com/index.cgi
Silverflame7 Productions(my sister's forum): silverflame7.proboards4.com/index.cgi
Nintendo Master's HQ: bigdekubaba.proboards44.com/index.cgi
And I have even re-designed my own forum. My original forum was just called The Light Castle. Now, The Light Castle Remix takes over. I have improved mhappy goose bumps and white skinsively with my designing on my own forum. You can even see more skins once you've registered. Oh and if you'd like, I'll show you some logos of my other skins on the TLCR.
The Light Castle Remix(My forum): fm5.proboards40.com/index.cgi
If anyone, including the admin from this forum, wants any help, I can help you on this thread. Don't hestitate to ask me. I don't bite...much. ^_~
